Here we are again.

We are reading Winn-Dixie a lot and we have to read every day. Ms.Hoppes went to a lighthouse in N.C. She also showed us how she got there. And we got 7 days until X-mas.

We are back

We aplologize for the lapse in our entries. We have not been able to access the blog from school. Probably because they were working on the Wireless stuff, but we are fixed now. So here is what 's happening.

We have started our new book, Beacuse of Winn-Dixie. I think the book is funny. We have also started working wit Language!. I think it is fun to work on, but it is a bit easy. We are still working very hard.

I am not in the all-star team,Because coach did not let me in it.We had a game on sunday and we got in 2nd place for our Super Bowl. My family is going to Florida for Thanksgiving after I am done with my dentist. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody.

This Week at R.R.M.S .............

This week we watched the movie When Zachary Beaver Come to Town. We have finished the book and the movie. We had so much fun. The movie was good even though it was different from the book. We talked about the differences in the book and the movie. We will be starting Language! this week and our next book will be Because of Winn-Dixie.

A crazy week!!

We have had a crazy week this week as far as Edutest and a Hot Air Balloon. We did not get a chance to blog this week, but Alexis will take care of it for us on Tuesday!

yesterday we finshed ZACHARY BEAVER. We took a test and most of the class got a 100% but we all did our best. RAMPAGE won there game against Bertie. We are 5-1 and we plan on winning the super bowl. We will start a new book in a few weeks. We wiil start ZB test this week.

Another Training.

Our Favorite Class

We read Chapter 17 in Zachary Beaver on Wednesday. We also took a test on Chapters 13 and 14. And on Tuesday, Mrs.Hoppes gave us Lollipops for answering questions correctly from Zachary Beaver. Our class is Mrs.Hoppes favorite and we love her too.

This week in

Our class read chapters 7 and 8 on Zachary Beaver this week. We drew and colored things from the novel to make it more fun and to help us learn. We are reading a lot of AR books in class and doing a a lot of assignments on Zachary Beaver. We will take a test soon on chapters 9 and 10. hope we have other tests where we can draw a map. That was the funnest test I've ever had.

Reading Foundations Training

Here we are reading in our books!!!!


We read chapter 7 in Zackary Beaver today. We watched football on Sunday The Buccaneers Vs Green Bay Packers and we watched the CowboyVs the Redskins. We had a game on Saturday. The Rampage VS Camden andRampage lost to Camden. I have a brithday party on Saturday. We had a test on Thursday. On this test, we could pick if we wanted to take the paper and pencil test or if we wanted to write a letter, draw a map, or write a song about the story. We had fun doing this. We are really enjoying the story, When Zachary Beaver Came to Town.

Hi I'm Aryhan,
In class we have been reading a book called Zachary Beaver, Zachary is the fatest kid in the world. We are on chapter 6 now and we are starting to like it ,we are thinking Zachary is running out of food ,Toby and Cal gather food and put it on Zachary's door step and climb on top of the Bowl-A-Rama so when Zachary Beaver opens the door there was fat everywhere . My friend Erik and I are on the same Rampage football team. Saturday we had a game. We won 38to0 We plan on going undefeated.

Go Rockets We Rock'

We had a test on Zachary Beaver and everyone made different grades in my classroom and we read the book Zachary Bevaer to chapter five. We had a starter about designing a school bus for a field trip. Everyone had fun and differnts designs. We had a great week last week .... The End...

Another Good Week

We are having a great year so far. We are having so much fun this week and we are doing something new this week. Here are some things: 1.We started a book called When Zachary Beaver Came To Town. 2.Then we finished Chapter 1. 3. We had our orientation at the Media Center with Mrs. Jackson. We had our first book and learned the procedures of the Center. We like River Road Middle School !

Trying!!!

So I put in my whole first name in for my email. We have had technical difficulties today, so I started a new blog and would you believe that when I signed in the new blog sent me to the old blog. Mrs. Hoppes is having a bright and sunny day with technology :.)!!!! I will keep all posted on the status. I think we are up and running at this time. I am not sure how I was ale to sign in, or if I will ever be able to manage this 3 hour quest again. Hopefully the students will be able to post in the morning.

Welcome Back To School

Hi! Here we are at River Road Middle School. Some of us are looking forward to having a great year, others of us are looking forward to June 10th. We had our first day of school last week. Some of the things we did were:

1. We found our homebase teachers and got our schedules.

2. We studied the RRMS Matrix in all of our classes. We know how to follow all the rules listed on the matrix.
3. We wrote to an Army Chinook helicopter mechanic.
4. We played a Bingo game using the Matrix.
5. We had lots of getting to know you activities so we could get to know each other. We all came from different schools.
6. Finally, we started our blog. We will be posting once a week in order to keep you all informed of what we are doing in the classroom.

YEAAAAA!!!!!! We made it through the first week.
